What is public, and when
- You sign a fixed message; its hash is your salt. You then sign the call itself (EIP-712). No gas.
- Before the cutoff, anyone sees the author, ticker, round, time, timing label, thesis, sources and the commitment hash. The bucket is hidden.
- GAPTAPE receives your salt at submission so it can reveal for you, so the platform can see your bucket before the cutoff. It is never returned by any API before then.
- The relayer anchors the commitment in the registry contract on Robinhood Chain. A call not anchored by cutoff + 1h expires and does not count.
- After the cutoff the bucket and salt are revealed onchain. Anyone can check them against the commitment. You can regenerate your salt by signing the same message and reveal yourself.
How a result is settled
- Round rules round-v1: Friday anchor = last Chainlink update at or before the close (13:00 ET on early closes), at most 3h old. Reference = first update at or after 09:30 ET of the next session, within 2h.
- Formula gap-v1: gap_bps = (S - F) x 10000 / F on underlying prices (feed answer divided by the token uiMultiplier at that block), rounded half away from zero. The contract computes it from the feed rounds.
- Score score-v0-provisional: exact bucket 2, right direction 1, else 0. Provisional.
- Sequencer check: unavailable. Chainlink lists no uptime feed for Robinhood Chain, so each settlement records "unavailable".
- Settlements are append-only. A correction is a new numbered version with a public note.
VOID reasons
- STALE_ANCHOR
- : The last Chainlink update before the Friday close was more than 3 hours old.
- NO_ANCHOR
- : No Chainlink update existed at or before the Friday close.
- NO_REFERENCE_BY_DEADLINE
- : No Chainlink update arrived within 2 hours after the Monday open.
- ORACLE_PAUSED
- : The Stock Token oracle was paused at the reference update.
- NON_POSITIVE
- : The feed returned a non-positive price.
- SEQUENCER_DOWN
- : The chain sequencer was reported down.
- ADMIN_VOID
- : Voided by an admin correction.
What a proof does not show
An onchain record shows what was recorded and when. It does not make a call correct, it does not check linked sources, and it does not guarantee the price feed. Prices are Chainlink reference prices for Robinhood Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain. They are not the exchange's official opening or closing print.
